Information About Steak and Shake Restaurant - Is It Healthy?

By JacK Macdowell

The United States is full of wonderful beach towns, hidden and well-known. While every beach town has a different flavor, they're all united by their beautiful beaches. Ogunquit, Maine is a small town located on Maine's southern coast. Only 75 miles north of Boston, it's easily accessible from many major cities in the United States and Canada. The name, Ogunquit, means "Beautiful Place By the Sea." I couldn't agree more!
The area is unique in that it has no branded stores in the area, these related to large hotel chains such as Hilton and Best Western and restaurants such as Pizza Hut and Mc Donald's. The whole area is made up of local business and the amount of hotels allowed is controlled so that the area does not become too overpopulated in the summer months. Ogunquit is a perfect place for a relaxing vacation, everything within the town is within walking distance. This includes over 87 restaurants, a world class beach, numerous shops and local attractions.

You especially don't want damage to the Perkins brand-name from the local youth who are taking pictures and videos with their cell phones, as they might put them on YouTube, Facebook, or Twitter. Especially unfortunate if the results ends up a dead "cuddly" bear in the parking lot with 40 million people upset within less than two minutes of viral marketing.

The popular restaurant swaps prop items with other Planet Hollywood locations in North America making a guest's repeat experience even more enjoyable since there is always something new to be viewed. What also makes the Planet Hollywood a great restaurant is the fact that they will allow you to come visit without a reservation, in fact go visit even if your don't plan on staying for their fabulous California inspired menu, you can explore the restaurant and view the timeless stage and screen items.

Early the next morning, I chose to first visit the Tortuguero Rainforest in northeastern Costa Rica with a local tour company. We lucked out with good weather..no blocked roads! On the way there, my tour stopped at an animal reserve in the woods. We saw poisonous, red-eyed frogs up close, multi-color toucan birds, gorgeously vibrant flowers, and indigenous fruit. Well worth the stop! When we arrived at the tour's starting point, we got onto a small boat with an awning and slowly cruised along the waterway to our destination. During our journey, there were many sights to behold..sloths among the trees, horses and flamingos along the water's edge, birds on the grassy shoreline, and many indigenous plants. Why there was even a family of crocodiles in the water. One of them jumped, spread its jaw wide open and snapped its mouth shut before it could come over and eat us!
