Facebook held a secret meeting of Wall Street analyst

Social networking site Facebook on Monday held a secret meeting by the bankers, market analysts and lawyers involved in the final sprint to prepare for the company's initial public offering (IPO).

CNBC reported that such meetings are generally regarded as a Facebook IPO start-up meeting. The investment banks are able to ask any questions at the meeting, allowing the sale of the company's stock to investors in Facebook IPO.

But the report also stressed that investment banks and market analysts did not attend the Monday's meeting. After the first round of the dotcom bubble burst at the beginning of this century, investment banks have already set the firewall to prevent the investment banking team affect their R & D team. They said that, if the investment bank's banking business team wants to talk with Facebook's R & D personnel, they must be after the approval of the lawyers.

It is not clear that Facebook has invited a number of analysts to attend the meeting. The company plans to raise 5 billion U.S. dollars through the IPO, the company valuation up to $ 75 billion to 100 billion U.S. dollars, which will become the Silicon Valley's largest IPO.
